The family robot, LOVOT, developed by GROOVE X Inc. uses resin gears made of Starlite’s S-BEAR material (S1860).

LOVOT has a lifelike presence and, over time, makes it feel like a member of your family, much like a pet. It has a thoughtful side too. The wheels are retracted when you pick it up to avoid getting your clothes dirty. The use of the highly durable resin material S-BEAR (S1860) in the gears of the drive unit enables LOVOT to move stably for a long period of time.
